For grandparents, childminders and friends

Help with the school pickup, with no app to learn.

Paryta is a family organiser app for UK families: one place for the family calendar, school and club dates, pickups, helpers such as grandparents, and life admin, coming soon to iPhone, Android and the web.

When a parent needs a hand with a pickup, Paryta sends the grandparent or helper a simple link. They tap yes or no, and the family's plan updates itself.

How a helper is asked

A text, a link and one tap.

The ask comes from the parent, with the day, the time and the place. The helper answers on the link, and the parent is told at once.

  • By text, WhatsApp or email, in the parent's name
  • No download, no account and no password
  • Helpers only see what they need, never the family's private things
A helper's page opened from a link, with no app. Jo Hale is asking: Can you collect Mia? Wednesday 21 October, collect at 6pm, at Wrenfold Kids Club. A note from Jo and two large buttons: Yes, I can, and Not this time.

After saying yes, the helper's page says: Yes, I can. Thank you. Jo knows you can collect Mia on Wednesday 21 October at 6pm. Buttons to see all pickups, mark away days and add to a calendar.

What helpers see

Just enough to help. Nothing more.

Only the pickups they agreed to

The day, the time, the place and the children's first names. Never the family's calendar.

One link, no app

The same link shows everything they have said yes to, whenever they want to check.

Who is picking up, at a glance

Parents see who is covering what, and Paryta points out the gaps before they become a scramble.

Big, clear buttons

Yes, I can, and Not this time. Large text and buttons that work for every generation.

Childminders can have their own page on Paryta, with booked sessions covered every week. Paryta for childminders.

Questions

The things people ask first

Anything else? Email [email protected].

Do grandparents need the app or an account?

No. Grandparents and helpers get a simple link and tap yes or no. They never need the app, an account or a password.

How does the ask arrive?

By a text with a link, in the parent's name, or a WhatsApp message or an email from the parent if they prefer. The link opens a page with the day, the time and the place.

What can a grandparent see?

Only the pickups they have said yes to: the day, the time, the place and the children's first names. Never the family's calendar or anyone's private things.

What if they cannot do it?

They tap Not this time, and the parent sees the answer straight away.

Do helpers pay?

Never. Grandparents, helpers and friends answer from a simple link or the app, free, whatever happens.
